Here is a photo of the original layout map of the adjacent gravesites in Lot 614 on documentation dating from 1926. These sites have been in our family for over 80 years, and we are offering them to you now at substantial savings.
The view looking towards the southwest. The red roof of the train station, a 3 minute walk away, is visible above the car. Having a train station so close makes this an ideal cemetery for anyone in the Chicago area to visit.
This is another view of Lot 614, looking south by southwest. The grass, bushes, flowers and trees blend in to make an ideal setting in which to visit a loved one.
This is the view looking towards the south, at Lot 614, showing the sign mentioned above. The grave sites are in the area bordered by the sign on the right, and the flat monument on the left.
This is looking east from the office. Lot 614, which contains the sites, is just beyond the bush & sign. In the hot afternoons, it is shaded by the large & stately old tree seen in the picture. The park is beautifully landscaped, immaculately maintained, and with old growth trees not available at the newer cemeteries. They also, unlike many cemeteries nowadays, allow above ground monuments.
This is Elmwood Cemetery. The adjoining grave sites, purchased in the 1920's, are just east of the office, and are the only remaining large block available in the stately "Old Section" of the cemetery.
